  17. after Buckminster Fuller, who popularized the geodesic dome they
  18. resemble. They've never been seen outside the lab -- until now.
  19. Geologists tracked down buckyballs in the wilds of Russia in an
  20. unusual, ancient, carbon-rich rock near the town of Shunga,
  21. close to the Finnish border.
